Additional
Programmes
There are more programmes planned and in the
pipeline for the
TV CHANNEL
Some of these are
listed below but do not include programmes that are not from Wholehog
Productions.
A current list of
these is available by request.
 |
Children’s Drama.
Set books for exams, but with
“non-adults” acting.
Done to a very high standard, by
careful typecasting, using existing locations and sets.
(Fifty Five Minute Weekly Programme
with some series aspects)
|
 |
Children’s Game Shows.
Child Presenters - New and
innovative Competitions and Games involving local* children and parents.
(Fifty Minute Weekly Programme)
|
 |
Children’s Documentaries.
Child Presenters looking at the
world and the environment from their point of view.
Each week a team of kids will go out
and try things out that are specifically for children, and give their
evaluation of various facilities, amusement parks, etc.
(Half Hour Weekly Programme)
|
 |
“Home Grown” or “HGM”
|
(Home Grown Music) – A
two section programme with a studio based music and performer selection,
plus a section on local* concerts and composers at their home/studio. For “home grown” music, writers, singers and
bands. New stuff not yet hit the scene with a competition like aspect built
in. Very topical with X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent type programmes
commanding a serious amount of both public and performer interest! (Fifty Minute Weekly Programme)
 |
“Lights Out”
|
On light pollution, its effects
on us and wildlife, plus the unnecessary use of electricity. (Part of the
"POLLUTION" series)
 |
“Off The Rails”
|
Another look at the state of
the rail transport with a close commuters' eye look at the improvements,
value for money, inadequacies and inefficiencies. Are
they really here for the public?
*(local) - These items are also part of the "Round Britain"
coverage and input from our
news and crews throughout the British Isles.
**(Home Grown) - Contributions for this programme are more than
welcome but are filtered as appropriate by our Programme Planning Team
and Programme Controller.
More programmes are already on their way in
